The doctors and staff at Advanced Pet Care of Clear Lake are passionate about helping pets live long, happy, healthy lives, but that passion isn’t limited to the walls of our practice. We regularly lend our services and expertise to both pets and people of the Clear Lake community as well, including League City, Friendswood, Dickinson, and Pearland. This includes our attendance at the Friendswood ISD and The Galloway School events as well as our involvement with Great Dane Rescue of Southeast Texas and Second Chance Pets. Friendswood ISD and Galloway School
Every year, members of our team sponsor and attend school galas for the Friendswood Independent School District (ISD) and The Galloway School, a 21st century college preparatory academy. We regularly host educational pet presentations for Galloway students to demonstrate proper interactions with and handling of pets so students can become more responsible and educated pet owners. We also give students the opportunity to be a “vet for a day,” allowing them to shadow the doctors and staff at our practice and learn more about veterinary medicine.
Great Dane Rescue
Great Dane Rescue of Southeast Texas (GDRST) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue and rehabilitate Great Danes of the Houston area. Rescued Great Danes are placed in foster homes as they await adoption. This volunteer-based organization depends solely on monetary donations. To support GDRST’s mission, Advanced Pet Care of Clear Lake provides discounted veterinary services for these dogs, including vaccinations and medical care, until they are placed in their forever homes.
Second Chance Pets
Second Chance Pets (SCP) is a non-profit, foster-based organization in League City that is dedicated to giving unwanted pets a second chance at life and educating the public about welfare issues. SCP regularly works with the public (outreaches, donation drives, etc.) and other rescue groups to help find foster care and pet adoption programs to help pets find loving homes. Advanced Pet Care of Clear Lake shares the mission of SCP and regularly partners with the organization in its adoption efforts.
