If your pet is boarding when a dangerous storm approaches, we will make every effort to contact you and your emergency contacts and give you the option of picking up your pet. In the event of a “mandatory evacuation” order, you or your representative will be responsible for picking up your pet within 2 HOURS. If we cannot contact you, or arrangements cannot be made to have your pet picked up, Advanced Pet Care of Clear Lake will take all possible precautions to care for your pet while it is boarding. Due to the unpredictability of these types ofstorms, however, if a mandatory evacuation of the area is ordered, Advanced Pet Care of Clear Lake staff must evacuate. We will make sure that your pet has plenty of food and water prior to evacuation. We cannot guarantee, however, the safety of your pet, nor can we be certain as to when we will be able to gain access tothe boarding facility after the storm passes.
