Advanced Pet Care of Clear Lake in Webster is fully-equipped to meet all of your cat & dog surgery needs, including routine to non-routine. We know that having a pet undergo surgery can raise questions for a pet owner, but rest assured, your pet will be in good hands with us. Our surgical suite features advanced monitoring equipment as well as a special warming pad for your pet’s comfort and safety. We monitor every pet’s heart rate, oxygenation, ECG, blood pressure, and temperature before, during, and after surgery. Each patient is assigned a trained nurse for monitoring as well. We also provide any necessary pain medication to keep your pet comfortable before, during, and after the procedure. To maintain blood pressure, we use intravenous fluids during surgery.
Our practice is pleased to offer the latest technology, including laser surgery, to allow our patients to get back on their feet and return to a normal lifestyle faster. We use the Aesculight Co2 laser for many of our soft tissue surgeries, which results in less pain, less bleeding, and less inflammation. The laser beam is superior to the scalpel in that any incision made with a laser is bloodless. It also seals nerve endings, resulting in the elimination of bacteria and more post-operative comfort. We also use Class IV deep tissue laser therapy on most surgery sites to reduce pain, reduce swelling, and increase the speed of healing.
