Hi, I’m Alana and I’ve been a technician here at Advanced Pet Care for 7 years. I love working in veterinary medicine because it combines my passion for animals with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives and the lives of their owners. Every day is unique and filled with challenges, but I find it rewarding to help animals heal and advocate for their well-being. Outside of work I enjoy reading, working out and spending time with my family. I have two Great Danes, Shiner and Kimber. I am committed to making a positive impact in veterinary medicine through compassion, knowledge, and a genuine love for animals.
Crystal Phillips
Office Manager
I began working for Dr. Brown in 2008 and stayed on when Dr. Rush purchased the practice in 2012. Over these years I have worked in a variety of positions and am now the Office Manager for APC. My greatest joy in my job is being able to develop my team to be able to deliver an outstanding experience for both our clients and their precious pets. Over the past two decades, the realm of animals has been a profound and immersive experience, shaping personal and professional life facets. Beyond the clinical setting, time is dedicated to my two spirited children and a cherished spouse, trying to create a harmonious balance between work and home life.
Diana Kapsack
Veterinary Technician
I’m Diana and have been a devoted veterinary technician for over 3 years now. I love my job and strive every day to give compassionate care, making sure every pet gets the attention and love they deserve. Being a vet tech gives me the best hands-on opportunity to give back to our furry loved ones that give so much to us! Outside of work, I have a passion for nature and enjoy camping and spending time with my family.
Jess Whatley
Veterinary Technician
Hi, I’m Jess and taking care of animals has been a passion my entire life. Since 2006, I have worked as a tech in a veterinary hospital. This gives me the daily opportunity to use my skills and training to help every pet we see live their best life possible. I have been with APC for over 5 years now and continue to find it challenging and rewarding. In my time away from work I love spending time with my wife and our 3 cats and 2 dogs. When we can get away, we love fishing, camping, and hanging out on the beach.
Jessica Allbright
Kennel Technician
I’m Jessica, and I’m passionate about caring for animals and ensuring they feel safe and loved while their families are away. As a kennel technician, I take pride in providing comfort and attention to the pets in my care. I love learning new things about animal care and supporting their continued health and well-being. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring nature on walks with my dog, Ezra, getting cuddles from my 2 cats- Tigger & Dexter, playing board games like Dungeons and Dragons with my friends, discovering unique restaurants as a self-proclaimed foodie, and expressing creativity through arts and crafts like painting and drawing.
Kelli Rawls

I joined the APC team in 2022 as a CSR. I have been in the veterinary industry for 30 years, where I have had the pleasure of working in many different areas of the veterinary hospital. What I enjoy the most about my position at APC is the ability to educate our clients on the health and happiness of their pets. I believe the most important aspect is helping the client maintain that special bond they have with their companion. When I am not at work, you can find me watching my grandchildren compete in volleyball and softball, traveling with my husband and spending time with my beautiful family, which includes: 4 beautiful daughters, 4 grandchildren and our canine rescue turned best friend, Jagger.

Animal clinic worker by day, dog lover by heart. I’m passionate about animals, and it shows… I’ve got 6 dogs and a cat to prove it! When I’m not caring for furry friends, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, friends, and 3 adorable grandkids. I love to stay active, whether it’s working out or just enjoying life with my loved ones.
